Glendale, CA (February 1, 2021) – Glendale School Board Member Shant Sahakian will be hosting Virtual Office Hours for Glendale Unified School District parents, families, and stakeholders beginning in February 2021.
The Virtual Office Hours will provide parents, families, and stakeholders an opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with their School Board Member to ask questions, request assistance, and share feedback. Participants will be able to register for a 15-minute meeting that is convenient for their schedule.
The meetings will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing. Extended meetings and phone meetings are available upon request.
“I look forward to meeting with our Glendale Unified families, parents, and stakeholders to learn more about what our school district is doing well and where we can improve in serving our students,” stated Glendale School Board Member Shant Sahakian. “I have always strived to be accessible to our school community and I hope Virtual Office Hours will provide another safe and convenient way to connect.”
During February 2021, the Virtual Office Hours will be available every Friday from 5:00PM to 6:00PM and every Saturday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Below is the complete schedule:

About Glendale School Board Member Shant Sahakian
Shant Sahakian is an Elected Member of the Glendale Unified School District Board of Education representing District D. He was elected in April 2017, becoming the youngest School Board Member elected in Glendale history. Shant is a lifelong resident of Glendale and a product of Glendale public schools with deep roots in the community. He is a longtime community leader who has championed Glendale’s youth, advocated for the underserved, and served the community through a distinguished record of public service. He is a graduate of CSUN and UCLA Extension. He and his wife, Suzanna Sahakian, reside in Glendale, California with their son, Raffi Sebastian Sahakian, and daughter, Lori Sidney Sahakian.
