Our Board of Education has unanimously approved transforming Roosevelt Middle School into the Roosevelt STEAM Academy Magnet Schoolfocusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. STEAM learning is essential to prepare our students for the new economy and workforce. The decision comes just one year after transforming Cerritos Elementary School into the Cerritos Computer Science Immersion Magnet Schoolwhere computer science and coding education is part of the daily curriculum for our K-6 grade students.
